Janesville Senior Center presents: Janesville's Got Talent Show

I was a judge at this competition a couple of years ago and I look forward to lending a hand to this great Senior Center event again this year.   

In the meantime, here are the particulars:

COST:                  $2.00 to Attend the Show

This year we are sponsoring our 3^rd annual Janesville’s got talent show.  We are presently getting our talent line-up set, and it looks to be another great show! This is a community event, and the public is welcome to attend.  We all know that Janesville has lots of great talent just waiting to be discovered!  All ages are represented, and each participant or group will have 6 minutes to perform.  Sound equipment will be available to amplify the performers and play background CDs.  Cookies, bars, punch and coffee will be available to purchase during the show and at the intermission.  There will be a panel of judges to evaluate each act.   First place will win $50.00 cash prize and second place act will win $25.00.  Great door prizes donated by area businesses will be given out in drawings to those attending the show.  Don’t miss this fun-filled event!!  Applications need to be in by Friday, July 22.  Auditions will take place on Monday, August 1 beginning at 4pm.  Tickets will be sold at the door.  If you would like to perform, please contact Pat Tobin or Janet McLean at 755-3040.
