A couple of questions

I was contacted by a constituent asking about initiating an ordinance to ban smoking in public places such as parks and outdoor pavilions. All of the people with whom I have spoken about this are in favor of such a ban, even including a smoker. It seems that perhaps smoking and cigarettes may be on their way out. I would really to like to know what you think about that.

Also, the fireworks have become a somewhat explosive of an issue this year: several people spoke to me with either a sense of disappointment that the fireworks are where they are now - Sports Youth Center - or with certainty that the fireworks will be back at Traxler next year. And one person even reminesced about when the fireworks used to be at Wilson. What would you like to see happen next year?
